When co-founder Shannon first traveled to Pakistan six years ago, she fell in love with the country’s people, culture, and most of all, fashion. After several years of learning about the local design, and craft she and her co-founder Megan went all-in, partnering with a social entrepreneur in Lahore to restore his family-owned factory into a workshop where local designers, artisans and producers could work together to create uniquely beautiful clothes. Having their own factory allows for small runs with minimal waste, and for keeping all aspects of production close. Fair trade garments for women and girls, sustainable production, and an unflinching commitment to break the stereotypes surrounding the country of origin — that’s Victoria Road.
